I have waited nearly a month to review the Atomstack A20 Pro V2 engraver. I absolutely love this machine, and am having a ton of fun figuring it out. I have absolutely no experience with Laser engravers or cutters, but my daughter and I are big crafters and use other cutting machines for our crafts. We have been talking about expanding our crafting products, and our crafting machine was not up to the task. The Atomstack A20 Pro is more than capable of handling all our crafting needs, and we have thoroughly enjoyed learning how to use it. Set up was super easy, and I installed both the Atomstack software and Lightburn software to try out. The Atomstack software is very easy to use and similar to Cricut Design Space, but the Lightburn has so much more to offer, so that is what I am primarily using. I will say that for me there was/is a steep learning curve with Lightburn and getting the material settings figured out. I've spent a lot of hours watching videos and reading about how to dial in my settings for the specific materials I am using and also for what I am trying to do. I have learned that some materials are much better than others and that it does take some effort to design my own files but it is completely doable! I have not played too much with engraving images (like photos and pictures) but I have done lots of cut out earrings with some designs. I am no where near mastering this tool, but again it is so fun to play around with and see what it can do. I did purchase an enclosure and air assist off Amazon, as I maxed out my budget with just the machine, and those are must- lots of smoke and the air assist really makes a difference in quality. I'm hoping to get the rotary accessory next, so I can etch some tumblers. I am really happy that I went with this machine versus the others I had researched and it has not disappointed me! Hopefully, I will continue to get better and my skills and crafts will continue to improve! Definitely recommend for beginners willing who want a great machine to get into Laser cutting and engraving!
